YES!!!!! Finally!!! Good New England Clam chowder in NYC! After 17 years of searching. WOW!!! This place is great. Very down to earth, clearly well-established. They do their thing and they do it speedy and well. Excellent chowda, and excellent clams. A+ vibes, good natured staff (though sometimes they get a bit busy and will ignore you), 10/10 will be back!

It's delicious! It was a great time. It was a busy time, but the staff were kind and listened to my requests well. We ate oysters, lobster, and chowders. The oysters were fresh, filled with lobster meat, and even had eggs. The insides were fresh, so I enjoyed it. The price is reasonable. Four people, 1.75 pounds, eating four lobsters and about $180? I highly recommend it.

It was really nice fried calamari. Great atmosphere. Hot sauce on the calamari was delicious. I really liked the oysters too. Baked clams were good… I thought there was a lot of the “bake” and it was a little soggy. Overall I really enjoyed the vibes here and thought it was such a fun meal, but a bit expensive in terms of bang for buck. Definitely feels local & family friendly. We just walked in.

Did walk-in on Father's Day, since they don't do reservations. We came as a party of 6 around 2pm and luckily took the last larger table. What we got: - Calamari: Had to order, since it's one of their staples. It was fine, but toh l've had better. They're known for their sauce, but I didn't care much for it. The bread it came with was super stale and inedible. - New England Clam Chowder (bowl): This was pretty good! Would order again. - Lobster Bisque (bowl): Not as great as the clam chowder, but still good. - Baked Clams (Cherry Stones): It was alright for what it was. Fishy, but in a clam/sea way. I wouldn't care to order again. - Pasta Marechiara: Really good pasta dish!! The sauce was lovely and I enjoyed dipping bread in it. The pasta was also perfectly cooked. Would order this again! - Chicken Parm with Pasta: Just ok, the chicken was a bit overcooked imo. - Stuffed Filet w/ Zucchini Fries: Also just fine; a bit dry + not enough sauce. Zucchini Fries were delish tho!! - Meatball Parm (3): Decent size meatballs! Could've used a bit more sauce. Taste was ok, I've had better. Service was pretty slow, although they were packed. Overall, I've had better Italian food.

This Sheepshead Bay mainstay still delivers with some of the best seafood around. From our baked little clams to my calamare in hot sauce. Everything was perfect! Cannot wait to be back!!!
