Took my friend here for her birthday and we had such a great experience! The staff was welcoming, and when we arrived, they had a cute little handwritten Happy Birthday sign for her at our table. Such a thoughtful touch! I’m a huge oyster lover and tend to prefer the really briny, salty ones, so I loved the selection they had. We also tried the Old King Cole Martini, which was prepared tableside. It was a nice experience, since the person making it walked us through it as she went along. We sat in the garden, which was honestly the perfect setting. Super intimate, cozy, and charming. Would definitely come back!

Absolutely outstanding. One of my favorites bars in the whole city. A must visit during the summer months in particular Our staff was amazing and everything from the drinks to the food was just spectacular. Standouts were the dirty rice as well as the oysters (a must - definitely get the east coast ones). The mussels were also fantastic. Get the dessert. The fresh baked Madeline’s made to order are some of the best I’ve ever had.

absolutely marvelous! stopped by on a brooklyn trip and so glad i did! we sat at the bar and noah was so knowledgeable and patient! he gave great recommendations and managed to answer all our questions, make great conversation, and get our drinks out lightning quick! the oysters were marvelous, the dirty rice too, but the scallops were just superb! great spot for date night; dim lighting, oval bar, and jazz! highly highly recommend

We had an amazing dinner at Maison Premiere in the beautiful backyard space. The atmosphere was so cozy and romantic, I kept saying it felt just like New Orleans. We ordered the chef’s selection of oysters the steak tartare, dirty rice, and shrimp pasta. The oysters and steak tartare were out of this world, I’d go back just for those. My boyfriend also loved the dirty rice. The shrimp pasta was a little cold when it came out, but the flavors were good overall. The service was so warm and attentive to us, making our experience so special. It did take a bit to receive our drinks and our entrees, but we didn’t mind. It added to the atmosphere and allowed us to share a long, intimate meal. I can’t wait to go back!

Cute spot with great vibes throughout. We were lucky enough to walk in on a Saturday and still snag an outdoor table. The only downside was the service, it was pretty slow. My $30 cocktail took about 30 minutes to arrive. I can’t really knock them too much though… it’s Brooklyn, and the no-frills service is kind of part of the experience.
