⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely one of the best tonkotsu ramen experiences I’ve had. The broth was rich, creamy, and packed with deep pork flavor without being overly heavy, and the noodles had the perfect texture. You can tell a lot of care goes into every bowl. A special shout-out to Haruki, who always made the experience even better. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. Great food is important, but exceptional service is what makes you want to come back—and Haruki absolutely delivered. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious tonkotsu ramen with outstanding hospitality, this is the place to visit. I’ll definitely be back!

Searching for the perfect bowl in Brooklyn? 🍜✨ Ramen DANBO in Park Slope hits the spot every single time. Originating from Fukuoka, Japan, their Tonkotsu is as authentic as it gets. The best part? You can customize everything—from the firmness of your noodles to the intensity of the broth. 🖊️🔥 Pro-tip: Get the Negi-goma Tonkotsu for that extra kick of toasted sesame aroma, and don’t skip the soft-boiled egg. It’s a game changer. 🥚🧡 Whether you’re a meat lover or looking for one of the best vegan ramens in NYC, this cozy spot has you covered.

If you’re searching for an excellent bowl of ramen in Brooklyn, Ramen DANBO in Park Slope is definitely a place worth visiting. Every time I come here, the quality and flavors are consistently impressive. Originally from Fukuoka, Japan, this restaurant specializes in authentic Tonkotsu ramen, and you can really taste the traditional Japanese influence in every bowl. The rich broth, carefully prepared noodles, and attention to detail make the experience stand out. One of the best features is the ability to customize your ramen exactly how you like it. You can choose the firmness of your noodles, adjust the richness of the broth, and personalize different elements of your meal. This makes it easy to create a bowl that matches your preferences. I highly recommend trying the Negi-goma Tonkotsu, which adds a wonderful toasted sesame aroma and an extra layer of flavor. The soft-boiled egg is also a must-have—it adds the perfect texture and richness to the dish. The restaurant offers great options for different preferences, whether you enjoy classic meat-based ramen or are looking for a delicious vegan ramen option. The cozy atmosphere and flavorful dishes make it a great place for both casual meals and ramen lovers looking for something special. Overall, Ramen DANBO delivers an authentic and satisfying ramen experience. With customizable options, high-quality ingredients, and excellent flavors, it’s a spot I would happily return to whenever I’m craving a great bowl of ramen.

This ramen is amazing and super different because it is fukuoka style ramen. I love it because it remind me of home because they give you a pencil and paper to select and customize your ramen based on broth oil level, noddle firmness, and spice level. I got the sesame salt ramen with egg on top while my girlfriend got the curry ramen with 4 tofu slices. They always have seasonal ramen items so I will definitely be coming back. They have a clean bathroom, friendly staff who are very readily available and also love the branding because they also share the history behind the brand and style of ramen.

This place is close to my daughters weekend activities and she loves the ramen so we keep coming back. The food itself is great but every time I am there I feel like I am a nuisance to the staff. As a basic, never once have we not had to ask for a water refill. The bowls are SALTY and we noticed it wasnt just us asking for refills. They have requirements like if all parties are not here immediately they refuse to seat us or make the ramen. One time I told them my daughter is really hungry and we are in a time crunch for her next class, plus my husband and my toddler are coming in 10 min, so can we please just get seated and order, and they said no. So we opted to just sit at a two people table - then five min later, my husband and my son came, and they said, okay now you can move to a four person table. Every time we go - and we are there quite often - I have to keep asking them for a fork for my daughter because she’s a small child and doesn’t know how to use chopsticks. Today after paying for two bowls of ramen for over $50, I wanted a paper bag to carry the to-go bowl because I’m hauling 3 bags along with my 6 year old and there is no reasonable way to carry the bowl with the noodle and soup by hand- they told me a paper bag is an additional 50 cents. It’s not like this place undercharges for their food. We are paying a premium price for the ramen and all the various add-ons- I don’t understand all these requirements that make the customers lives so much harder as if we should just not eat there period and save ourselves the disgrace of having to beg all the time for various “accommodations”. I’m tired of being “surprised” by what else I have to fight them over. If all restaurants in park slope are like this, it’s a completely different story. But we have been so countless restaurants- some higher end and some not- that all care for families and young children MUCH MUCH MORE THOUGHTFULLY.
