Super high end place. I loved the set up and in the middle of a heat wave on the 4th of July this place was packed. I ate outside in 80 + degree and totally worth it. The menu was sparse but thoughtful and touched all the bases. I love crostini and had to get it and it was 3 pieces and I only could eat one. They are enormous. The salad was yummy and fresh and really hit the spot. I asked for a side of bread just to drink up the dressing in the salad bowl. Then the LAMB. I love lamb and it should only be RARE medium becuz it burns up sooo quick. This chef knows how to do it. The giant piece of meat came out and it would have a villages I literally could only eat a 1/3 of it. It was crispy on the edges and juicy inside. Literally turned into a soup when I was done cutting into it. I love meat that does NOT need salt or spice and this plate satisfied that immediately. I could not move it was sooo filling. The vibe is uber hip and everyone was glad they got a table at this place.

Tried Lilia last night and left with mixed feelings. Overall, I thought the appetizers were the stars of the meal. We started with the artichoke and the prosciutto plate with balsamic mustard sauce. It's surprisingly rare to find a whole artichoke on a menu, and this one was fantastic garlicky, cheesy, with just the right hint of spice. I'd order it again in a heartbeat. The prosciutto was delicious as well, though the portions felt a bit odd for sharing (three slices of bread and five slices of prosciutto). A small detail, but noticeable. For our mains, we ordered the agnolotti and the mafaldini. Both were good, but neither wowed me. I personally prefer the agnolotti at Union Square Cafe, which I find softer and more delicate, while Lilia's had a firmer, more al dente bite. The mafaldini was enjoyable but fairly simple, with the black pepper taking center stage. We finished with the olive oil cake, which had a lovely bright lemon flavor. My only wish was for a few more cherries on the plate (3 again). One helpful tip: the entrance isn't clearly marked, so it took me a minute to find the front door. I arrived a few minutes early and, since there's no standing bar area, waited on a bench outside until my table was ready. Once seated, our server was warm, attentive, and made the experience much more enjoyable. Overall, I'd absolutely return for the appetizers, service, and atmosphere.

(Review from a visit in Dec 2025): First time to Lilia, after having read all the hype. Really solid all around, pastas were all simple and tasty. We absolutely loved the mafaldini and agnolotti. We ordered too much so leftovers were taken home and we fought over them the next day. I think the star of show may have been the gelato, it’s wonderful. It shouldn’t surprise me as this group knows how to make 5 star gelato. The restaurant space is bigger than looks, with great atmospheric lighting that lends to a relaxing experience. Our only complaint was that service was a little uneven, they kind of disappeared at the end and also lost our leftovers. But they fixed it and it only cost us an extra 20 minutes. Overall, we really enjoyed Lilia! We’ll be back to try more of the menu and it also ranks as a great spot to impress visitors.

I don’t understand the hype. The clams were dry the cucumber salad was bland the Swiss chard pasta left something to be desired the prawn were good but that probably had more to do with a grill and prawns being easy to cook. The gnocchi was not great either. We had to try it but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The server kept trying to upsell us maybe because we weren’t drinking alcohol.

Delishhhh! Everything was yummy at this cute italian restaurant located in Williamsburg/Green Point area. We had a table rez inside for two ppl on Thursday in the main room in front of the bar, so our table had room on both sides, not too tight. For appetizers, we tried the house made mozzarella (hit the spot) and the pecorino. As a main, we ordered the house made pasta diavola and the roasted chicken. Everything was so good that we even ate the garlic cloves lol. For our sweet tooth, we got the vanilla gelato and the olive cake, both were to die for. Sizes are decent, presentation was good and everything looked fresh. Staff was friendly and attentive :). Booking in advance is highly recommended since it’s a popular spot, they even get reservations at the bar so good luck getting a spot as a walk-in.
