Abigail Torres· 3 months agoThe food is absolutely phenomenal. My husband and I are on vacation and stumbled upon this spot. This restaurant is more than exceptional. They offer great gluten free options along with vegan. They have their very own cocktails which encouraged me to appreciate vodka a bit more. The wait staff is extremely accommodating without hesitation. The place is extremely vibrant and full of energy. I gave this part three stars as my husband and I are more quiet and reserved. But if you like a booming restaurant with a lot of excellent conversation around you, then this is it!!
Michael K. Davis· 2 months agoFirst class service and hands down the best Chinese food in New York City. Try the Braised Whole Fish in Chili Sauce and this dessert! I ate at the bar and it was incredible.
David Wang· 2 months agoSolid stuff but not as mind blowing as the other reviews say (though this depends if you’ve had good Chinese food before). Fish was solid but a little too heavy on the batter to fish ratio. Eggplant was simple but good. The silken tofu was really solid texturally - might’ve been the standout dish for our meal.
Annie Pisapia· 9 months agoFirst time here. Cant say enough wonderfulness about this restaurant. Every single bite of soft shell crab was scrumptious. The steamed dumplings. Out of this world. The baby ribs. Spectacular. Immaculate premises. Host and all staff could not be nicer or more helpful. A pure joy. The jasmine tea. Im hooked.
Nanaie· 8 months agoWe dined here the night before lunar new year and were impressed by the hosts hospitality. We didn’t have a reservation and instead of giving us the usual snobby rebuke, the hostess added our name to the list & gave us nice hot teas to enjoy while we waited. Wait was around 30 min which felt reasonable, we got sat at the bar. Lovely bartenders, they all conversed with us and made us feel welcome, even provided helpful input on the menu. I felt like I was invited over someone’s house for dinner. The dishes were truly flavorful & unique, and the jasmine hot teas was exceptional. We recommend beef with green chili & the fried fish. I would not leave without trying the Dan Dan noodles & a dumpling of some kind (spoiler theyre all good.) I’ll have to come back for the cocktail list, it’s a treasure hunt! Could not have asked for a better dining experience. I hope the owners & staff are successful in all their endeavors, because they put their heart & soul in this place.
