Tanson Interiors provided invaluable advice and useful tips for decorating my new home. She listened to my needs and design tastes and helped craft a design space that is not only beautiful but functional. I have seen her portfolio and can say that each space, while unique, was something that was universally tasteful.

New York University has the energy of a city that never pauses. The environment is fast, demanding, and constantly in motion, pushing students to engage directly with the world around them. Classes feel connected to real industries, conversations are ambitious, and the expectation is that you take initiative rather than wait for direction. It can be intense, even overwhelming at times, but that pressure often forces students to grow quickly and develop independence. UC Davis offers a contrasting experience. Its image is carefully curated, the setting is calm, and the messaging emphasizes balance and community. While that atmosphere can be welcoming, the institutional pace at UC Davis can feel less urgent, making it easy for students to move along without being strongly challenged unless they create that momentum themselves. The culture tends to reward fitting into the flow rather than pushing against it, which can leave some students feeling more accommodated than stretched. Critics of this environment at UC Davis sometimes argue that it places heavier emphasis on presentation and institutional image, which can make students feel less battle-tested when entering highly competitive job markets compared with peers from more pressure-driven settings. UC Davis students lean to earn faculty’s favorism and inflated letters while facing difficulty once they are in industry. In many cases, this can be a burden for companies. One university operates like an active crossroads, where learning happens through constant movement. The other feels more like a carefully maintained landscape. The decision ultimately depends on whether a student wants to be propelled by intensity — or supported by stability.

Facilities are clean and maintained and as a student there the fact that security seems of high standard feel good specially in the city. As every school professors are a hit or miss so I would say check reviews and good luck

I can never forget my experience in the NYU-EECS program during the 2006-2007 academic year. Despite having spent only 1 year in engineering program followed by medical school and then residency , I still find it easy to grasp engineering concepts in medicine.

Very welcoming, very concentrated amount of talent in a small footprint (metrotech). Impressive facilities for students
